Your First Visit
One of the main objectives of your dental visit with Raj and his team is to make the experience as seamless and stress-free as possible.
- We will ask you to complete a medical history form on arrival, this not only allows you an opportunity to tell us about any medications you may be on or illness you may have experienced but to also give us an over view of your dental history.
- Firstly you will have time to discuss this completed form with Raj, in our consultation room; this is a relaxed environment away from the surgery. After this you will be invited into the dental surgery for your examination.
- Raj will check your teeth (dental decay, tooth function, your bite), your gum health (periodontal exam) and your soft tissue (mouth cancer check). All of these separate examinations are documented. Raj may wish to take some digital x-ray at this point.
- Once the examination has been completed , Raj will discuss his findings with you. After this discussion has been completed and you are happy that you fully understand any treatment required and of course all of your options, Raj will invite you to take a seat in the waiting room, whilst he writes your personal treatment plan for you.
